My taking to the beach project if I can get it caked up tonight.

Color A: Thistle
B: Crancherry
C: Black Cherry

6/15/20 Almost 1/3 done. A little slow going with the esc stitch and small hook. I’m loving the look, though! About to add in color B. Ended up running out of color B a few stitches short of completing final row of B. Luckily I had a skein of yarn similar enough to add for the last stitches without being noticeable.

06-23-2020 Added in Color C

06-26-2020 Only 5 rows left! Hope to finish today!

6-29-20 Finished yesterday and blocking today. Added a single crochet border around with color C and then one more row of single crochet in the back loop across the top edge.

I didn’t bother to gauge and this thing is huge!! 96” across the top edge and 40” long across the spine. I am wet blocking and tried really hard not to stretch it, but it’s still huge! Maybe it will shrink down a bit when it dries. I’m ok with it being big, though!

Next time I might steam block instead. I found it really difficult to wet block something this large with how stretchy it is when wet.
