Notes

Simple cotton tunic for my granddaughter. Working on design as I go. Really fun to make.

Top consists of 44 granny square motifs. The squares are 4 rounds and 3.5” across. They can be sewn together after made, or as I did, join as you go.

You can use granny square motif of your choice or use mine: Round 1: 12 dc in magic circle
Round 2: 2dc between each dc (24 dc)
Round 3: Working between 2dc groups from previous round, (2dc ch2 2dc ), (ch1, 2dc, ch1) x2, repeat from beg. around and join. Round 4 as round 3, but (ch1, 2dc, ch1)x3. Rounds 3 and 4 are as a basic granny square, but with groups of 2dc instead of 3dc.

Waiting to get pics of my granddaughter wearing it.
