Notes

Pattern calls for DK yarn, but I am using yarn rated a 4 weight (Red Heart Soft Baby Steps), so I am using F and G hooks instead of G and H hooks to make up the difference for using heavier weight yarn. I crochet on the loose side, so hoping it doesn’t come out too large.
Rows 1-10 as written, but with F hook
Rows 11-13 as written, but with G hook
Row 14- substituted trebles for doubles and half doubles for singles so the overall weight of the cape would be lighter and rows would be taller.
Hood-as written with G hook
Border- I substituted half doubles for doubles and used an H hook. I used Bernat Bling Bling.

Thanks to Lara Sue for the cute pattern! My granddaughter wanted a cape, so I whipped this up for her. Pattern was easy to follow and well written.
