I am using the Mandala Baby(3weight) single strand and the Woolike (1weight) double stranded. I didn’t have enough Woolike in any one color, so I opted to alternate two colors in color block stripes. I thought about just marking the two colors together, but I had already completed a section when I realized I didn’t have enough of just one color and didn’t want to start over. I am trying to use up some of my stash, so I made do.

I went by the chart before I located the tutorial. In the tutorial, the two double crochets in the rows after the heart rows are done behind the chain 3 between the hearts. I didn’t know this was how they were done, so I just made the two double crochets over the 3 chain 3 (essentially encasing the chain 3 inside the double crochets) This pulls the chain 3 down some, but it’s not visible and doesn’t leave the chain 3 out to get snagged on something. It looks fine, so I’m leaving it that way.
