The gray part and border is my own design. I used Hobby Lobby ILTY in Pink and Light gray. I believe I used less than 2 skeins of each color.
This is how I made mine:
Magic circle, R1- 8 dc in ring R2-2bpdc around every dc( 16 bpdc) R3-one bpdc around first bpdc, 2 bpdc iaround next bpdc repeat to end (24 bpdc) R4-one bpdc, one bpdc, two bpdc, repeat to end (36 bpdc) Change colors: R5-(start on any stitch) corners are one bpdc ch 2 one bpdc around same stitch, sides are bpdc, bpdc, bphdc, bphdc, bphdc, bpdc, bpdc R6- corners are dc ch 2, dc in ch 2 space, sides are 9 dc. (The spiral part is continual-R1-4 is spiral part R5-6 is square part)
