Thanks to Kathy Lashley @ Elk Studio for this well written, easy, and quick lovely hat pattern. I liked the design so much, I made matching boot cuffs.

HAT Modifications: Beg chain- 80 (I crochet on the loose side) and skipped rows 21 and 22 as my hat was long enough at this point.

BOOT CUFFS: F hook, Beg chain in an even # to fit around calf and check fit after round 2. (I chained 44 for a size small, 13 1/2” calves-I crochet loosely).
Follow hat pattern for rounds 1-8, repeat round 8 to desired length and sc around for last round. (I stopped after round 12 as I only had enough yarn to go that far. If I had more yarn, I would have made mine a little longer).
