I modified it by only chaining two instead of three after the single crochets for a slightly tighter weave. The blanket is 24” wide so I will probably make it 24” to 30” long, depending on how much yarn I have. I am alternating two colors because that’s the look I wanted. I realize I have to cut and tie off after every row, but I really don’t mind weaving in ends. Of course, alternating 3 colors, would allow to just carry the yarn up the sides.
May 2, finished 20 rows. about 20 -30 rows to go. I think I’m going to run out of blue before I can get the blanket at least 24” long.
May 3, Finished rows 21-39 plus 2 border rounds and wove in all ends. Had enough blue to finish. Finished size 25” x 25”. Took a little less than one skein each color.
Border:round one in same stitch as blanket, round 2 in single crochet
