Make with Fiber Me Up yarn 6 skeins dk in the colorway “Crowd Pleaser”. I had 90 grams leftover, so I probably could have made it with 5 skeins and careful planning.

I didn’t do a swatch, but measured stitches after completing few rounds and I’m at 19 stitches = 4” . This is just slightly off gauge and should be fine given the generous positive ease

I looked over the pattern and it appears to be simple enough for me make. I haven’t knitted an adult size garment with dk yarn before and I’m hoping it won’t take months to complete. If it does, I will just wait till next year to wear it.

3/28/19 I’m finished! (All except blocking and weaving in ends) I’m so excited and now think i may be able to tackle my goal of knitting a fingering weight sweater.

Going to measure sweater tomorrow, and hope fully get some pics. I will soak and block as soon as I get some wool soak.

This pattern was very easy to make, it just took patience on my part. Suitable for a beginner, just don’t be in a hurry. The pattern is well written and easy to understand and I highly recommend it.
