The Gold Rush Shawl is a well written design with simple stitches allowing the colors to shine. This is a perfect lightweight accessory for warmer weather.

The shawl is perfectly designed for one full and six mini skeins of fingering weight yarn. I was on vacation when I made mine and only had a few full skeins, so I improvised with one main color and 3 other colors instead of six. i used the same color for color 1 and 4, 2 and 5, and 3 and 6. I did not check the yardage of my main color and only had enough for 5 sections of main color instead of 6. The size was perfect for the way I like to wear mine.

I plan to make another when I get a chance using seven colors and the full six sections of main color.
