After reading notes for others’ projects, I’m not sure how to go with this. I have seen recommendations to go down to a 8mm hook, so not sure. My yarn is dk weight as I believe are the examples in the pattern. Trying with one hook size down from the suggested 10mm to a 9mm as I crochet on the loose side. I am 5’ 9” and about a size 4, so am making the size small.
Front panel: 60 stitches x 42 rows
Back panel: 60 stitches x 38 rows
(I matched the # of stitches for the front and back panels so it would be easier to line up when seaming.)
Shoulder seams: Stitched 14 rows together with 10 rows left open
Side seams: From bottom up left last 12 stitches open (24 total, front + back)
Sleeves: Followed directions for rounds 1-20 then added one more row. (I did not change hook size.)
Neck: I only did one row of sc across the back of neck.
I do really like the design, but I had to adjust this pattern quite a bit to fit the way I wanted it to- less baggy in the front. Also my gauge was different, so I had to go off calculated measurements. I expected a little more detail for the price of the pattern. It isn’t hard to figure out, but a little more info would have been helpful. Photo of finished sweater soon. :)
