2/17/21 Slow and steady! Attempted this pattern before, but got very frustrated with the way the stranded cotton was being split by the needles. Switched from metal to bamboo needles this time and so far it’s smooth sailing. crossed_fingers

Picked up working on this sweater again a couple of days ago. Finished bottom running on body and about 3/4 done with both sleeves. Hoping to finish this week.

Just need to add ribbing to sleeves and re-do ribbing at bottom of sweater. I used 3.25 mm needles and think I need to go down a needle size or two for the look I want on the ribbing. Waiting on needles I ordered because I don’t have any needles smaller than 3.25mm.

Nearing the end. I just need to finish the ribbing at the bottom of the body. ( I had completed with 3.25mm needles and wanted it a little smaller around, so frogged and started over with 3mm needles).Should finish today, then on to faux seaming the sides and weaving in ends.

This sweater turned out very oversized, but it’s lightweight enough that I will still wear it. I always panic and make size Medium when I should be making size Small. I’m always worried it won’t be big enough, but usually end up with medium being too big. Lesson learned!
