Easy pattern to follow. I followed pattern, but about halfway through, I realized this was going to be too big for my granddaughter (20” head), so I began to decrease down to abt. 60 stitches around. This worked out fine. I do crochet on the loose side, so I probably should have measured the chain in the beginning like the pattern directions stated. This was a simple no-fuss pattern that would be great for a boy in a neutral color . I only have a granddaughter, though, so I made it in orchid. Will post a pic of my granddaughter wearing it when she comes over.
