I only had 2 skeins total of this yarn for both hats. I had enough leftover purple from mine to make the toddler size for my granddaughter (3 yrs. old). I had to leave off one row of the initial band to have enough purple to finish the hat. I had just a small amount of grey left, but it was enough to add a simple flower of 12 sc in a magic ring and 12 loops made of 6 chains each. I attached a button to the hat and slipped the center of the flower over the button.
The toddler size fits my granddaughter more like a beanie, but I didn’t have enough yarn to make the child size. It’s still really cute!
