I love this yarn, however it is discontinued and that is quite a shame. I used this held double for the shawl. I wanted something bright and cheerful for an acquaintance who lost her son to bone cancer last year just a few months after I lost my own son. Her son loved life and was always on the go so I wanted something to remind her of her son. I couldn’t find just the right comfort shawl and when I saw this Shetland lace pattern “Daisy”, I knew I wanted to use it, so I designed a rectangular shawl using this lace pattern. The Alpaca drapes beautifully :). I hope you will enjoy the pattern.

*** One thing I forgot to say was that I knit with this doubled, so if you use a thicker yarn you won’t need as much.
