Intswemodo #13

I’ve been waiting for this test to start. I’m finally finishing up my current sweater test so it’s perfect timing.

I had a frustrating time trying to wind the annie yarn. It was a tangled mess! However, my ever patient husband detangled it for me. I was already looking up someone to detangle it for me on the Knot A Problem group. Hubby asked to have a go, so I let him try. Thank God. :)

I am knitting with fingering weight, doubled, so I’m working with 4 balls of yarn at a time. I only hope I don’t make a tangled mess of it. Again.

I like the subtle striping of the original. I’m using yarns with low contrast to try to achieve that as well.

15 Nov - I have run low on the yarn for my sleeves. I can either make 3/4 sleeves or try to get more yarn.

16 Nov - I was knitting both sleeves at the same time because I wasn’t sure if I would have enough yarn. I was able to find more so I’ll be making full length sleeves.

So far, pattern is very easy to follow. Very thorough and new processes are fully explained. Every time I knit in stripes, it seems to go by more quickly. Stripes and texture keep it moving along without it getting boring.

22 Nov - Knitting is done! It needs a good wash and block.
