Notes

After I finished my basket and looked for a name I stumbled over this pattern . OK: great minds think alike :-). And compared with Caroline’s pattern we used nearly the same procedure. So: I declare myself too lazy to write my own pattern and give credit to Caroline’s pattern in case you want to work your own cat basket.
I started with 189 sts which I devided for a zigzag pattern and decreased regularly for the circle of the bottom.
I used various yarns, some especially for felting, some not.
In my blog I wrote more details (in German).

Now we are waiting for our new cat to be adopted from the cat shelter, and I hope for being able to present a picture with a cat in the bowl.

It seems that the nest would be too small but it’s perfect.
