I visited Auntie Martha twice a year for some weeks.
After lunch she was taking a short nap and always used a small bolster. The cover could not be removed and washed. She always had to cut a seem and sew it after washing. So I knitted her a cover for her bolster with a zipper to open it for cleaning.
When she died in 1999 the bolster was still there ready for use.
