Rosenresli is another book from the famous Swiss author Johanna Spyri who also wrote the children’s book ‘Heidi’.
Rosenresli was the first role as an actress of Christine Kaufmann, former wife of the late Toni Curtis. The film is made in the typical style of kitschy concoctions of the 50s.

Resi is a classical female name in Alpine countries and Resli is the diminutive of Resi. Rosenresli was an orphan living with stepparents who were gardeners especiallly of roses. And so on to ‘all is well that ends well’.

I made two of the tunics which first should be worn as dresses. My two nieces have nearly the same age and so you must not favor one of them.

I managed to use up many leftovers, gifts and otherwise uncombinable yarns.

To work the roses of one of the dresses needed 4 hours and another one to fix them on the tunic.

The pattern is very clear and well written, my compliments to the designer.
