Notes

Deutsch im Stricktagebuch vom 5. Dez. 2012.
Started with 140 sts in tubular cast-on. No provisional thingie or else. This is the most effektive technique to form a tunnel on-the go-where you can put the elastic band through.
You can make the tunnel as wide as you need without sewing seems or other afterwards efforts.

Before changing to rib stitches, cast-off some stitches from the backside to have a slit to insert the elastic band. Then cast on the sts again. Continue in rib stitches as given or as you like.

I worked lifted increases but I consider yo-increases or M1-increases looking better.

My increases are like this:
Part 1: v-v-v-v-v- (directly after tube for elastic band)
Part 2: vv-vv-vv-vv-
Part 3: vv--vv--vv--vv--
Part 4: vvv--vvv--vvv--vvv--
Part 5: vvv---vvv---vvv---vvv---
Part 6: vvvv---vvvv---vvvv---vvvv---
Part 7: vvvv----vvvv----vvvv----vvvv----

I also changed needles from 2,5mm at first to 3,5mm at last three sections.

Japanese girls must have figures like 12-year-old European girls. Skirt is modelled by a six and an eight-year-old girl from the neighborhood and it’s not too big.
It will be a holiday-gift for one of my nieces.

Thank you for this nice inspiration!
I think I will make one for myself.
