Deutsch im Stricktagebuch vom 4. April 2012.
Last year I took part at the 1. Textile Outdoor-Award. The theme was “Guerilla-Knitting”.
My place was number six out of 179 entries.
I worked stripes as well on my CSM as on my single bed Brother KH830. The stripes were weft into the fence of our somehow tedious train station.
After some days the first rectangular vanished. The stripes were put interactively on and off by passers-by what made the outdoor artwork downright flexible.
Two days before Christmas the last four rectangles vanished.
The price award ceremony took place at the h&h Colonia the biggest market for craft and wool traders. I was accompanied of friends from all over Germany as Birgit, frieda who was my host and companion, Gaby, Heidrun, Claudia and Brigitte who came from the USA to meet me ;-)
I also met another winner, Claudia from Austria who wore her wonderful and colorful crochet sweater.
