I felt inspired by this pattern by Polly Plum but didn’t need to follow any instructions, and so I made my own calculations and didn’t buy the pattern.
And I wanted a meaningful use of these three squares.
The technique is chevron-based, and I made a sketch on grid paper with the amounts of stitches and the places where to increase and decrease.

It’s a great design of Polly, and though I cannot rate the pattern, I think you will have much fun making it.

I also admire the mathematician David Hilbert, who as a professor encouraged six women out of 69 doctoral students, a very rare occurrence at the beginning of the 20th century.

Wie üblich habe ich aus dem Sammelsurium meiner Garnspenden Garne herausgesucht, die nicht unbedingt eine harmonische Farbzusammenstellung ergeben, aber die Schönheit der Geometrie unterstreichen. Und mit der Decke habe ich wieder einmal etliche Einzelknäule und Reste verarbeitet
