Deutsch im Stricktagebuch vom 30.Nov. 2012. My son, a piano player, has long fingers so cast on 86 sts. I started with tubular cast-on and worked the cuffs 12cm long, because all of our family hate it when windbites at the ankles make biking uncomfortable. The cuff could have been made one size less in width.
The pattern was nice to knit and is very well written. Before weaving in ends I swiss-darned the holes from the additional cast-on-stitches between the fingers.
Knitting the twisted stitches soon became a habit, though the knitwork itself took longer than I had imagined.
The Windschief hat matches nicely to the gloves because it has also twistet rib stitches.
