Deutsch im Stricktagebuch vom 25. November.
I started with the shawls during strikes of the local traffics and made good progress. Only the rows where the beads had to be hooked were worked at home.

The darkest scarf is for my mother-in-law. She likes the colors and she collects owl sculptures in every style. Yes.
I was not content with the yarn, it bleached out by hand washing, so I washed the scarf several times in the washer and fixed the color with vinegar.
I won’t buy sock yarn at Aldi any more because this was not my first disappointment.

The second scarf “Piglet in Mud” matches exactly to one of my nieces who is a great outdoor-fan and likes to play in mud for her life.
The yarn was a pleasure to knit.

The yarn of the third scarf was already used two times and washed several times in the washing-machine. Its highly recommendable.

I also used up very old beads from projects I made as a teenager.
Fortunately I had a hook which found its way through the beadsholes. The remaining beads will be given to the nieces. Three Christmas gifts done, yeah!

The instructions in the pattern are very well and easy to follow. The owls are either in charts and as written instructions. I prefer charts because I’m used to them since my knitting beginnings.
