A friend made experiments with handdyed yarns in 1996 but the public wasn’t prepared for this exept me. I bought 5 shades of her yarn in 200g hanks and mixed them for a cardigan for my husband.

Typically he wanted pockets inside and outside so I made a lining which makes the cardigan pretty heavy.

I saw a shawl in a shop-window in Munich and made pictures, paper pictures then, hahaha.

I counted the stitches of the shawl and tried to copy the pattern with lifted stitches in the cardigan. As a contrast the cuffs were worked in a small checkerboard pattern.
