Notes

Again I took a pretext to crochet hexagonal African flower patches. A gift for my niece who wanted a “surprise” for her birthday is on its way. The African flowers pattern is very welcome to use up leftovers and scraps. For working the patches I used this pattern from Jandy Warner to weave in all threads (except the last one) on the go.
The elephant pattern is well written. Trained by Heidi Bears Designs the pattern is easy to follow.
As in the last patterns with African Flowers I sewed the patches which I find much faster. I would do “joining-on-the-go” in a much bigger project. Very recommendable for joining any kind of Granny Squares is Marken’s Pattern
