Recently I saw this blog entry and was inspired by this picture. It immediately came to my mind to use up some yarn that loitered around in my stash for 13 years.

It was the first time I used the technique of tapestry-crochet and it was a lot of fun. I looked at Esther’s picture and copied the stitches.
I intend to make a shopping basket in tapestry-crochet because the fabric seems to be very strong.

Our cat likes her new blanket very much.
