I’m highly motivated to use this pattern for a blanket, it’s great fun to hook.

You may use various leftovers of all kind within the project - from sockyarn to worsted

My advice:

• Choose your hook bigger than adviced for the yarn; the project will then be drapy and not stiff
• cast on more chain stitches al you believe to be enough, the length of the shawl will shrink more than you may imagine. Guess why I know.
