Notes

At my opinion this pattern would be worked more often if the pictures in the ROWAN Magazine weren’t so awful. The girl on the picture looks like she expects her next bilious attack or just recovers from the last one.

This tunic is an ideal sweater for opulent body shapes. A-line with lines in twist-stitches which lead to a tiny cable ornament. Unfortunately they don’t show this in pictures of the model.

I left this ridiculous belt they offered with the sweater.

Making:
Spooling industrial yarn in several shades with one woollen thread. Look at the picture and you see what happened after machine washing: the structure changed to a smoother surface while it was more defined before.
I made the sweater 5 cm longer knowing it would shrink a little.

What I like: the tunic fits very well at shoulders and has a pretty neckline.

The pattern was easy to follow though I hate those anglosaxon instructions which describe every stitch but won’t show a brainy sketch with measurements and the shape of the parts.

The design is felicitous but the presentation is dreadful which is a pity for this very enjoyable sweater.
