Notes

I’m proceeding my Moebius-series with a Bolero with sleeves. As you might see in the last picture the sleeve openings are still hidden under green yarn.
You have to decide early what will be your front or back. Actually a contradiction speaking of Moebii, but you have to set up the attachment of the sleeves.

In order that the bolero doesn’t slip from the shoulders I reduced the back’s neckline.

I always start my Moebii with a provisional crochet cast-on. I still left the cast-on chain for demonstration but you may put it easily off after the first knitted row.

Here is my Moebius-Crochet-Cast-On in German.

The next project in the series will be one with sleeves.

I consider the testknitting as finished.
You’ll notice that I made two kinds of sleeves: one knitted on directly straight on in garter, the other knitted on with increases for a cap sleeve.

As no child with fitting proportions was on hand, Heidrun made some pictures for me on her 110-cm-doll. She also gave advice to make the upper sleeve increases not too fast.

I’m rather content with the fitting round the shoulder.
The increases for the cap sleeve have to be modified.

Next step is to transform the conclusions into a recipe for adult Moebii with cap sleeves.
