This picture is knit in short rows. I used 13 colors and combined 4 fibers to one thread. It’s a dyptichon of 140 cm hight and 70 cm width. After knitting I put it onto a frame.

I always knit my pictures with a 2,5 cm circular needle. My longest needle is 180 cm long, my longest picture 160 cm.

The different color fields are knit with a special algorithm. That means: the short rows are shortened in various intervals. Those intervals are combined in a code. The code is developped before starting to knit and will never change until you finish the picture.
