I was attracted by the grip and the colors of the linen yarn spun in two plys. But after swatching I was not amused noticing that the swatch tended to bias.

I bought the pattern book of Horst Schulz some years before and and it came to the idea to combine colors and knitting technique to a summer sweater.

The knitted material shouldn’t get to sturdy so I worked one purl row from time to time to prevent the knitwork from biasing.
