Deutsche Beschreibung im Stricktagebuchvom 26. Aug. 2005
I was fascinated of the title-page from “Norsk Strikkedesign” but the pattern reminded me on a bed-jacket with monk’s sleeves.

So I changed the pattern to suit to myself.
The body was knitted on my punchcard-knitting-machine. With the help of Kerstin and her DK7 the body pattern was converted to suit a 24-point-punchcard. Nice work she did, didn’t she?

The cable pattern is worked with a 3mm circular needle and the length was adjusted.
The width of the sleeves was reduced to a wearable manner.

The whole jacket was lined because I didn’t want to get my fingers caught into the threads of the stranded knitting.
I needed two long evenings to fix the lining with invisible stitches.

I made a toque matching to the jacket and now the whole ensemble reminds me on the riding costume of a Russian Duchess. This gave the name for the deux-pieces
