Skye Tweed Jacket
My cardigan is named „Nara“, this means pomegranate in Albanian.
The jacket is simple but has some nice details.
I made some modifications.
I used the Channel-Island-Cast-On appropriate to the moss-stitch pattern.
The sleeves were made with dpns, I hate sewing where it isn’t neccessary and I’m way faster in dpns than with circulars.
I worked more buttonholes so that it’s possible to chose how the lapel should look.
Choosing the right buttons was a copious enterprise: I could not decide which buttons to take but then found some pretty becoming ones.
Looking at the back you notice that the jacket has a good fit.
I had learned from some other knitters that they had some problems with the pattern. I had none. All seemed clear to me and a didn’t find any flaws in it.
My advice:
don’t knit too loose otherwise you have an unfitting and unflattering rag instead of a jacket.
