I was attracted by the pattern that I stumbeled upon by combing through crochet patterns for afghans.

The pattern is very well written with tips and hints for own creations. It’s a recipe with all information you need for any design.

I started with the four-cornered variation which seemed to be the easiest for learning about structure and Buildup. It wasn’t but nevertheless I tried to launch into more tentacles with more or less success.

The project was another attempt to reduce my stock of cotton.
The pattern is really addictive, and I intend to design something like a labyrinth.
