The yarn was meant for quite another project. But when I saw Stowe I switched my intention.
I bought the yarn at a sale and it seems to be discontinued. I expected the camel color not to be sufficient and added the teal one from which I only had three skeins.

The parts are meant to be knitted and sewn together.
I started with a provisional cast on for the right front part and added the left front part at the provisional cast-on.
The back was added to the long front-to-front-part.
When the back had the right size for the armhole depth I started to knit together the side edges of the back to the side edges of the front.
This was not looking good so I decided to sew the side seams in matress stitch

The sleeves were knitted in the round and sewn into the armholes because I didn’t want to have the whole jacket on my lap knitting at a temperature of 37 degrees Celsius.

The seams which are sideseams when wearing the long version didn’t look well so I covered them with a rolling edge in the contrasting color.
