Crocheting granny-squares wasn’t on my screen for umpty years until I saw a website full of projects made from African-Flower-Hexagons.
I was intrigued and designed a winter-set for my niece. It was a joy to knit and put the hexagons together.
I used the following basics of Jandy Warner’s tutorial
I already started with another pattern where to knot the different threads together always at the same starting-point of the round.
This pattern was a piece of luck and shows how to start with the new thread and weave in ends on the go. Many thanks for this helpful hints! This was a development for a long-out-of-exercise-crocheter.
