The third pair of gloves in 2012 - I’m developing an obsession ;-)

This is such a beautiful pattern and wonderful details: the outside has the lace pattern right down to the wrist while there is ribbing on the inside for a good fit.

I am very happy that I finally found the “perfect yellow” for these gloves, it is exactly the shade I had in mind. Lovely soft yarn, but very “splitty” so I have to concentrate to pick up all of the yarn with every stitch.

28.11.2012:
I still love the gloves, but it annoys me that the lace pattern is twisted on the back of the hand. After anlysis and helpful hints form the Gloves group I found out that a sore thumb is not good vor my hand shape. I need to make my thumb more towards the palm of the hand.

I have enough of the yellow yarn to make a second pair, so I’ll knit them again with a different thum. This pair will be washed and gifted to a friend.
