Notes

This sweater was knit using the updated version of the pattern from the fabulous new book - I am ashamed to admit that I did not even look at the original pattern because I could not wait to jump in! And because of the wonderful styling on Theodora, I had to make my own brooch from some buttons and felt.

I decided that I did not need a long-sleeved wool sweater because it is always too hot in the office during the winter months. Turns out, I really like the 3/4 sleeve look for this sweater.

I am so pleased with the sweater, I may end up making a long-sleeved version at some point in cotton.

The rib is stretchy without making my torso look like a stuffed sausage as some ribs tend to do!

The only construction change was to the collar. Instead of rejoining the yarn for the right shoulder on the RS (the squared off outer edge), I cast on the extra 8 sts with the tail end of the cut yarn on the left shoulder and rejoined the yard on the WS of the work (the neck edge) so I would not have a tail end to weave in right in the middle of my collar edge.

I love my new sweater! Orange is not a color I normally wear, but it is so cheerful I could not resist the yarn.
