Yarn was left over from my first POP blanket - so because this pattern is just so easy and TV-friendly for late evenings when one is tired - I made module after module. This time I lined the blanket and secured the lining with tiny star stitches (cross stitches or herring stitches are also fine) going through the pinhole cast-on through the lining. Lining must be washed before sewing it on and make sure, that the fabric is very slightly stretchy to accommodate the suppleness of the knit front.

It is quite warm and light-weight. I am happy with it. When I made this blanket, I was infusing each stitch with the thought of a small child getting to know the world…
