Notes

When I first spotted Pinneguri‘s design I thought it was lovely, but the beetles made me think of Totoros. The idea stuck in my head until I could resist no longer.

This is going to be an epic knit. As the pattern is not in my language, the sizes only go up to a large, and I had to modify the charts to suit my vision.

I’ve been playing with charts over the past few months and finally nailed it. Now that my yarn has arrived it is time to begin with the numbers.

My plan is to use Alyeska as the basis for the sizing. I’ve made the pattern, and it fits comfortably. I should be able to plug the charts in with some fudging.

Needs a bit more length before the rib. I think I want a similar amount of flowers as for the top. I wish I had mirror imaged the totoros down the front, but too late now! Onward and upward!
