Finished the stockinette portion. Ordered Miyuki silver lined crystal beads online. Thanks for the tip Alicia!

Starting the beading. The beads I ordered are a size 6 and when I got them, they seemed a big large. So I’m going to use them for the points. I had some other Japaneese beads in the stash that are a size 8 (not silver lined though) and I’m going to use them for the body of the shaw.

Totally love this project in this yarn. It’s always a pleasure to knit with my handspun. I spin to knit, not for the sake of spinning.

A bit more dye did run in the pre-blocking wash. Oh well. I don’t plan on washing it as a rule.
