Fun knit. Quite the challenge.

I didn’t like the button hole as written. Way too big. Instead, I’m doing yarn over K2tog.

This little sweater kicked my butt. I knit the body and started the sleeves before I discovered I had the wrong rate of increase. Since it’s knit top down I had to start all over.

Second body done right, I knit the sleeve and it was only when I reached the ribbed cuff that I realized I had worked it with the ribbing needles. You could visibly see it. So, I ripped and reknit that sleeve.

I even messed up sewing on the buttons and had to redo three of them.

BUT! It is done now and I’m very happy with it. The yarn is Hobbii Fluffy Day XL and the pattern is Shapeshift. The soft and fluffy yarn worked in brioche stitch makes the most squishable, cuddly sweater. It’s a Xmas present for my niece and I hope if feels like a warm hug for her.
