I’m two timing my Rambling Woman with this one. Found the pink yarn at the Needle Emporium and fell in love. I was in a pinky-blue mood that day. LOL. It’s a bit juvenile feeling, but I don’t care! It makes me happy.

My main color is on a huge cone, so I’ve got it on a lazy susan and I’m turning it round so I don’t add extra twist as a take the yarn off the cone.

Also please note the difference between the swatch and the yoke is the navy yarn. Off the cone, the yarn is thin and wiry. Once washed it softens and blooms. I must remember this because freshly knit, it doesn’t look very nice.

Modifications:

• For each sleeve, took one stitch extra from front and back. (Total 4 stitches removed from body, 2 added to each sleeve). Cast on an extra 2 stitches for each under arm. (Body is the same, sleeve has 2 more additional stitches for 4 total). At underarm, picked up 28sts, decreased 2 stitches on first row. 84 +28 - 2 = 110sts total. No increases required while making sleeve.
• For the bottom edge, I copied the sleeve edge to repeat that design element.
• My row guage was a bit off, so I only did 3 repeats of the dots on the sleeves. So glad I did because the length is perfect.

I managed to use only one skien of the pink for the sweater which makes me happy cause now I can have some pink matching socks!
