The pattern doesn’t provide any guidance for choosing colours. I’ve decided to try a fade. I’ve more than enough of both color sets.

So much fun! So addictive! And so easy to switch yarns up mid-game.

I’m already thinking if I can do more of this…

I can’t believe how fast it’s going. I’m currently approaching the end of the body. I’ve got two more scrappy bits to use up, then on to the ribbing.

I’m contemplating a shawl collar. Will consult knit group for guidance.

Finished on my birthday! Love this. It needs a good blocking and there’s still more ends to sew in. But it’s done enough to wear!

To block, I threw it in the washer and dryer, which is what I do for my handknit socks. It came up beautifully. Looks a bit smaller, but I expect it will stretch out when I wear it.

I need to knit more sock yarn sweaters…
