Knit as per the pattern, this did not fit over my heel. To make it larger I added one repeat for 84sts.

At the heel, divide the stitches (41) knit one row white, purled back decreasing 4 sts evenly across.

I put the gusset at the bottom of the foot, and decreased it back to 84 sts.
