Possibly because of how I knit it this was more of a shawlette. The pattern was easy, I like how it looks and LOVE the yarn and colour gradient, but I do wish it was larger.

Done! I like the ribbing that I did and I added an eyelet lace type edge that I think looks great. I did an increase row near the bottom which makes it nicely frilly. Overall, liked the pattern. I modified it a lot, sure, but it was a nice pattern.

I didn’t like how the bottom half pattern was looking. Maybe I was messing something up, maybe I gave up on it too soon, I don’t know. All I know is that it looked like utter garbage so I tinked back and am instead doing some 4 knit/2 purl ribbing. It is looking nice, much better than it was. The colour transition is looking really nice too.

The colour shift in my yarn has begun!! YAY! I continue to be surprised at how fast this is knitting up and how nice it is looking. I am also really enjoying using this yarn. Catching all the plys is sometimes a pain, but it looks so nice and is so soft and lovely!

Started this shawl because I needed a simple pity project to complete after the sadness of having to frog the progress I made in my Fellowship shawl. Fast and easy knit. Yarn looks and feels great, and I am almost to the first colour change. Fun.
