Test knit for Anadiomena.

I’m making it in DK yarn, which means following the instructions how to customize the skirt.

My gauge: 22 sts in 4” (pre-washed)

I’m using batik yarn - cutting out the darkest purple shade and changing yarn thread in every row, which means working with 3 strands of yarn attached.

It’s actually working really nice.

Body: 60g
Waistband: 13g
Hemline: 17g

Gauge post-blocking: 20 sts in 4”

Damn it! It grew like hell in blocking! Will be longer than 12 months (I mean it’s ok as kids grow pretty fast, but damn it!). I used the yarn before on Brambles but I blocked them pretty aggressively then and assumed if there’s no aggression involved this time, it won’t stretch. Damn it! I did!

It means the skirt is about 2” longer.

Still, it’s sooooo beautiful! I love the purple-pink-blue combo.
And the design is great too!
Will definitely be making more of those for Aga in the future :-)
