I absolutely love this design.

Pattern downloaded. Yay!
Waiting for yarn.

Finally cast on.
It took me a while to differentiate between all the inc sts, but now it’s ok.
I used this video for buttonholes.

Finally dividing for sleeves. Followed instructions for size M, but still had to add 6 sts for underarm.
I don’t know what it is but I stopped liking this project. Maybe it’s the amount of instructions (17 pages!), the tables (which I still don’t understand), or maybe it’s that I’m not sure of the result and working as if with a blindfold. The yarn’s fantastic though.

Took me a long time to decide about inc. Decided finally to skip them and make only the ones on the hips.
Made 4 buttonholes on the chest.

Made collar and sleeves. Decided on 1x1 ribbing everywhere - to my mind 2x2 spoils the cardi’s construction.
Now just need to finish the body.
Different hip inc:
- 1st (after waist): inc in 8 purl wedges (2 in each front, 4 in the back) from p5 to p6 (+8 sts),
- 2nd (after 8cm): inc in 8 purl wedges from p6 to p7 (+8 sts).
This way I’ll be able to get a nice 1x1 ribbing at the bottom.

Finally done! I don’t believe it took me a month to make it. :-/

I was trying to take some pics but I hate all of them. I get the impression that this is the most asexual cardigan I’ve ever made. I look 40 in it. The only thing I like about it is the yarn and that I can wear it during pregnancy.
(sigh)

2nd photoshot. Ok, I like it more :-)
It’s really great for my growing belly.
What would I change?
- I’d add inc just in bust section, right after sleeve separation, and decrease those sts after bust.
- I’m really happy I didn’t add sts after bust in every purl section. The cardi would have looked humongous.
