Mindless knitting.

I’ve wanted to make a shawl from this yarn for a long time.

It started as something not specified with easy stitches, just to get a shawl that’s warm and perfect for winter (which we are not having at the moment :-/). No lace, just St st and Garter, maybe some small eyelets.
But then I thought “why not make some nice border?”. Still no lace, just plain sts, but this time I could play with short rows :-)

So tonight I started the border - and I can’t wait for the shawl to be done and blocked. I love it.

Hope to have everything ready next week. Also the pattern which could go to testing then. :-)

Oh, and I’m changing the name from Evergreen to Riparian :-)

When I look at now it I see it’ll be perfect for playing with at least two colorways.

It’s so hard to capture the real color of this yarn :-/ It’s like forest green. I hope when I take modelled pics, you’ll be able to see it.

I was so impatient that I took some pre-blocking pics - 2 bottom photos.
