A successful first knit project! Really took this full circle; this cat sweater was the reason why I first decided to learn how to crochet, only to decide I didn’t like the texture of crochet clothing and learn how to knit. Now, two years after buying the yarn, I have gained two crafting skills and finally have this sweater (just in time for summer haha). Pretty excited to wear this next winter. As with my experience in crochet, I think bulky yarn like this is really helpful with learning/handling/seeing the stitches for beginners, and it was fairly easy to maintain tension. The pattern is very beginner-friendly and easy to understand. I did make some accidental modifications in the raglan (I think I added some increases somewhere, as my stitch count ended up being more than what the pattern called for) but for an oversized fit this garment is really comfortable and drapes nicely over the shoulders. The loose collar is also comfortable to wear; not too exposing, but also not tight on the neck which I know I would not have liked.
Now I just need to talk myself into weaving in all the ends and blocking the finished piece…perhaps this can wait till winter aha.
